Long before shortcuts and complicated processes, ghee was made with patience. Fresh milk was turned into curd. The curd was churned. The butter was separated. And slowly, patiently, it became golden ghee.
That wasn't simply a recipe. It was a tradition. At Galactica, we honour that tradition through the Bilona method, beginning with milk from our indigenous Gir cows and following a process that takes time, care and craftsmanship.
Our ghee is associated with Brahma Muhurat, the traditional period approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise. For us, 136 represents those quiet moments when the world is still waking up and good things are allowed to take their time.
